SDSM& T STUDENT FROM HOT SPRINGS INITIATED INTO NATIONAL ORDER OF OMEGA
Kayla Schroeder of Hot Springs was recently inducted into SDSM& T’s Xi Tau Chapter of the National Order of Omega, which is the highest fraternity and sorority honor on the SDSM& T and many other campuses. Kayla, a member of the Alpha Delta Pi sorority, is a senior Metallurgical Engineering major at the South Dakota School of Mines & Technology.
She is the daughter of Darwin Schroeder of Hot Springs. Her activities at South Dakota Tech include Student Ambassadors; Tech Family Weekend Co- Chair; Pep Band; Symphonic Band; TONITE; Golden Z Club President, Vice President and Secretary; Alpha Delta Pi Pride Leader, Education Chair, Spirit Chair, Reporter and Membership Education Vice President; M- Week Committee; and M- Day Picnic Chair.
