SDSM& T STUDENT TO PRESENT FLUTE RECITAL ON APRIL 26
Gail Samuels, a junior metallurgical engineering student at South DakotaTech, will join pianist Katy Chamberlain in presenting a “ Flute and Piano Recital” on Saturday, April 26th, at 7: 30 p. m. in the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cathedral, 520 Cathedral Drive. The concert is sponsored by Hills Material Company and the Chamber Music Society to benefit the Allied Arts Fund Drive.
Prior to attending Tech, Gail was principal flutist for the U. S. Air Force Combat Command Heartland of America Band. A New Jersey native, she has a Master’s degree in music from the University of Iowa. Her activities on the Tech campus include Golden Z Club, TMS/ ASM ( Minerals, Metals, and Materials Society/ The Materials Information Society International), and the Society of Women Engineers.
Tickets for the concert are $ 5 and can be purchased at the door or at the Allied Arts Fund Office. For additional information about the concert, contact the Allied Arts Fund Office at 394- 4106.
