BISMARCK STUDENT TO PARTICIPATE IN SDSM& T UNDERGRADUATE RESEARCH SYMPOSIUM ’ 97
Shannon Peterson of Bismarck, a sophomore civil engineering major at the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, is participating in the 2nd Annual SDSM& T Undergraduate Research Symposium ’ 97 this Saturday, April 26. Shannon’s parents are Don Peterson and Julie Mastel of Bismarck.
Shannon’s research project is a poster presentation entitled, “ Benthic Macroinvertebrate Study to Determine Health of Rapid Creek.” Undergraduate students from South Dakota’s universities will give oral and poster presentations on their latest research in the fields of Engineering, Science and Social Sciences. Cash awards will be given to the top presenters in each category and to the best overall presenter.
