Summer Courses at Tech/ Chamber Packet:
Draft # 1
Don’t let the summer get away from you this year! Take advantage of the many exciting educational opportunities offered by SDSM& T. Expand your knowledge, improve your skills, earn academic credit, and have some fun at the same time!
You can dig for fossils out in the field with a paleontologist from the Museum of Geology. Study the Lakota language or learn museum methods. Or spend a week learning about the geology of the Black Hills from a Black Hills Natural Sciences Field Station expert. Brush up on your math or English skills. Perhaps you’d like to learn about leadership and organization development or management techniques from a military perspective. Take a college math course or get some other classes under your belt before the school year starts this fall.
You can do any or all of these activities this summer through courses offered by South Dakota Tech. We welcome you to visit our campus. But if that’s not possible, you can take some of the courses in the comfort of your own home. For that matter, you don’t even have to be anywhere near Rapid City or the Black Hills to take advantage of some of Tech’s summer educational opportunities. Through the wonders of distance learning, you can take certain classes through videotape or cable TV.
Take a moment to check out what’s offered inside. Apply now for one or more of these courses.
When summer’s over, you’ll be glad you did. Make this a summer to remember!
