Colors, Kaleidoscopes and Science
Not every creature sees color. People discover the beauty of color in artwork and we understand what a red light means. Colors are vital in our world. Children ages 6 to 12 can explore the science behind light and color during the Children’s Science Center second Summer Enrichment class of the season.
The Center will offer the two-day “Color Your World” class from 9 a.m. to noon Thursday, June 13, and Friday, June 14, at the Center, 515 West Blvd., Rapid City. The class will be divided into two age groups – 6 to 8 years old and 9 to 12 years old. Classes are limited to the first 15 who register.
The cost for the class is $25 for Science Center members and $27.50 for non-members.
You can pick up and drop off registration forms at the Center
“Color Your World” is part of a summer-long series of classes that will allow children to explore and learn interesting and important topics. The classes are sure to enrich any child’s summer.
