Hitchcock Classic On Tap Jan. 20
Alfred Hitchcock's “ To Catch a Thief” will be shown at 6 p. m. Sunday, Jan. 20, at the Elks Theatre. The 1955 classic stars Cary Grant and Grace Kelly. Shot on location on the French Riviera, the film won an Academy Award for its outstanding photography. The film was the third of four films combining the talents of Hitchcock and Grant and the third and final time Grace Kelly appeared in a Hitchcock production.
This film is the second of 10 classic films in the eighth annual Nostalgia Night Film Series. Season tickets for the entire series are still available for $ 30 at the Elks Theatre and at the Devereaux Library at the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology. Tickets for individual films are available for $ 4.50 at the door the evening of the film. This year's theme, " See the World Upon the Silver Screen," takes movie fans on a tour of the world via the giant screen.
