SDSM& T PROFESSOR RECEIVES ADDITIONAL $ 80,000 RESEARCH AWARD FROM NATIONAL SCIENCE FOUNDATION
Dr. Mark Hjelmfelt, SDSM& T Chair and Professor of Atmospheric Sciences, Institute of Atmospheric Sciences, has been awarded an additional $ 80,000 in funds by the National Science Foundation for his project entitled, “ Convective Rolls and Cells in Lake- Effects Snowstorms: Structures, Mechanisms and Effects.”
