Atmospheric Resource Board awarded research agreement
The North Dakota Atmospheric Resource Board has been awarded a $661,371 cooperative agreement by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. The funding will allow the continued analyses of storm data collected during the 1993 North Dakota Tracer Experiment, the summertime study of mature thunderstorms.
In addition to the Board, funding will also support analyses by the University of North Dakota, Center for Aerospace Sciences; South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, Institute of Atmospheric Sciences; the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's Environmental Technologies Laboratory; the National Severe Storms Laboratory; and Colorado State University.
