SDSM& T EMPLOYEE RE- ELECTED TO GOVERNOR’S PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT ADVISORY BOARD
Jeanie Eatherton, secretary for SDSM& T President Dr. Richard J. Gowen, recently was re- elected as the Board of Regents Career Service employees representative to the Governor’s Personnel Management Advisory Board. The Board consists of 13 members-- 6 elected ( 5 from other state agencies; 1 from the Board of Regents), 6 appointed members from state agencies at large, and Bureau of Personnel representative Sandy Zinter.
The Board studies personnel issues of importance to state employees and makes recommendations that are presented personally to the Governor each year. Eatherton was re- elected to a second two- year term. Elected board members can only hold office for two terms.
