CC GRADUATE ACCEPTS POSITION AT SDSM& T
Dr. Kerri Vierling, a 1990 graduate of Colorado College, recently accepted a position as Assistant Professor of Biology at the South Dakota School of Mines & Technology ( SDSM& T) in Rapid City. Vierling earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Colorado College, and an MA and Ph. D. from the University of Colorado, Boulder in Environmental, Population, and Organismic Biology.
In her new position Vierling will be responsible for teaching a variety of biology courses including ecology, environmental science, and anatomy/ physiology. She will also be coordinating anatomy/ physiology laboratories.
Vierling most recently worked at SDSM& T in as a temporary hire biologist from September 1998 – May 1999. She previously worked as a Wildlife Biologist with the City of Boulder Open Space Department, and taught the Conservation Biology course at the University of Colorado Mountain Research Station in July 1999.
