EDGEMONT STUDENT WINS HONORS AT HIGH PLAINS REGIONAL SCIENCE & ENGINEERING FAIR
Nathan Harding of Edgemont High School won 1st Place/ American Meteorological Society at the 44th Annual High Plains Regional Science & Engineering Fair held recently on the South Dakota School of Mines & Technology ( SDSM& T). Harding won the award for his science project entitled “ If the Earth was Cubical.”

The 44th Annual High Plains Regional Science & Engineering Fair featured 375 middle and high school students from 32 area schools competing in various science and engineering categories. A total of approximately $ 2,650 in cash awards plus many additional prizes that included flags, books, backpacks, databanks, and medallions were awarded to the winners in the various categories.
