BONE MARROW DRIVE AT SDSM& T SEEKS TO FIND A MATCH FOR NICOLAS
South Dakota School of Mines and Technology is hosting a bone marrow donor drive on Thursday and Friday, February 17 and 18, 2000. The grandson of undergraduate student Kevin Lockhart has a disease which can only be cured with a bone marrow transplant. To find a matched donor for Nicolas SDSM& T is hosting a donor drive from 2: 00 – 7: 00 pm on Thursday, and 7: 30 am – 2: 00 pm on Friday in the Surbeck Student Center. Appointments are all filled up, but Walk- Ins are welcome.
There is a $ 21 fee for the donor tests which will place you on the National Marrow Donor Program Registry. Parking will be available at the football stadium on the east side of the SD Tech campus. The school will provide shuttle service from the stadium to Surbeck Center every 15 minutes.
