MILWAUKEE STUDENT CANDIDATE FOR DEGREE FROM SDSM& T
Curtis Knox of Milwaukee was a candidate for a Bachelor of Science degree in computer engineering from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology during SDSM& T’s 138th commencement held December 19th in the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center Theater. Eleanor Swent, an oral historian specializing in mining history at the University of California- Berkeley, gave the commencement address. Mrs. Swent was presented with an honorary degree as Doctor of Letters and Literature during the ceremony.
