SIOUX FALLS STUDENT SELECTED AS MEMBER OF SDSM& T HOMECOMING COURT
Travis Soldatke of Sioux Falls has been selected as a member of the M- Week ’ 98 Homecoming Court for the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology ( SDSM& T). Travis, a senior civil engineering major, is the son of Dennis and Linnae Soldatke of Sioux Falls. The Surbeck Student Center is his campus sponsoring organization for the Homecoming Court.
His activities at SDSM& T include the following: M- Week Committee, American Society of Civil Engineers ( ASCE) Student Chapter, TONITE, Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity, and Polar Plunge Volunteer. His interests and hobbies include mountain biking, water skiing, soccer, camping, snowmobiling, fishing, skiing, hunting, and working on cars.
The coronation of this year’s homecoming king and queen will be held Thursday, September 24, at 7: 30 p. m. in the Surbeck Center Ballroom. SDSM& T’s M- Day parade, football game and dance on Saturday, September 26, will culminate a week of homecoming activities.
