MINNESOTA STUDENTS ARE CANDIDATES FOR DEGREES FROM SDSM& T
Several Minnesota students were candidates for degrees from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology during SDSM& T’s spring commencement on May 9th. Area candidates for Bachelor of Science degrees from SDSM& T with their hometown and major are as follows:
Bird Island: Ruth Anderson, Interdisciplinary Sciences with Honors
Bloomington: John Tinker, Civil Engineering with Highest Honors
Burnsville: Kristen Fischer, Chemical Engineering
Glenville: John Van Beek, Civil Engineering
Hallock: Rachel Olsonawski, Mechanical Engineering
Jackson: Michael Sip, Civil Engineering with Honors
New Ulm: Daniel Janni, Computer Science
Stillwater: Alea Pommer, Metallurgical Engineering with High Honors
Woodbury: Nisha Taneja, Chemical Engineering
[ Highest Honors: 3.80- 4.00 GPA; High Honors: 3.60- 3.79 GPA; Honors: 3.40- 3.59]
