As his life sectioned, Into the place he positioned to be. The creases formed a deformed portrait. He was a sketch, a sketch without a defined line or purpose. An undecipherable message, smudged into rigid translation. And then the critics, Misrepresenting the life he desired, utterly untold. The “enlightened” casting a misinformed shadow. While the young stare, They know not, that purity out-speaks intelligence. The innocent are not heard and cannot judge, although should. Where is the smudge? The last remnant of thought erased.

Corroborations 2013 was held at the University Libraries, The University of South Dakota, from January 28 – May 3, 2013. The Corroborations 2013 exhibition paired USD visual arts and poetry majors in order to create new collaborative work and to both broaden acceptance and appreciation of alternative art disciplines.
