Local Student Helps Make Phonathon A Success
Alexis Braun of Bismarck, N.D. was one of 13 South Dakota Tech students who helped the SDSM&T Foundation collect a record amount of donations during the Foundation’s Fall Phonathon. Braun is majoring in Civil Engineering at Tech, an engineering and science university in Rapid City, S.D.
The two-week push resulted in $83,250 in donations and pledges for the Foundation, the university’s development office. The students worked nine nights and made approximately 7,200 phone calls.
